Yes! The Gooey Chocolate Brownie & Chewy Super Seed Flapjack cakes simply need to be cut into squares once baked and then put into the freezer. The Zingy Lemon Drizzle & Cheeky Carrot Cakes can be frozen as loafs and popped into the freezer. We would recommend slicing the Rustic Brown Bread before popping into the freezer and simply taking out slice-by-slice as needed. To defrost all of the Boutique Bake’s Cakes & Bread simply leave them at room temperature for 3-4 hours and Enjoy!

Yes! You can use apple sauce instead of bananas. Simply peel, core and coarsely chop 1 cooking apple. Combine apple,2 Tbsp. water and 2 tsp. lemon juice in saucepan. Cook on low heat 10 to 15 min. or until apples are very soft, stirring occasionally.

We recommend to bake as per direction on the pack. You will notice that your cake is cooked to perfection when it is well risen and golden brown. When a skewer is inserted into the centre it should come away clean with no residue.

Yes! Once you put 400ml of any sort of milk in you are good to go!

Once kept in an airtight container, the cakes should last 3-4 days!

Yes! You can use any oil to make your Cheeky Carrot Cake. We recommend sunflower because there is a very mild taste from it. However, any oil will do!

If your cake is stuck to the tin, don't panic! Simply loosen the edges of the cake gently away from the cake tin with a knife. If not,place a hot, moist cloth around the tin. Let stand for a few minutes. Repeat, if necessary.

Store all cakes in an airtight container at room temperature. Our Cacao Protein Bites must be stored in the fridge and will last for up to a week once kept in an air tight container!

You can use 1 tbsp of ground flaxseeds & 3 tbsp. water. Mix until well combined and jelly-like. This replaces one egg.

For a classic cream cheese frosting, beat 100g of softened butter until really soft, beat in 300g of cream cheese and the icing pack provided in the box! Why not decorate the top of your carrot cake with some walnuts or some grated carrot?

​Flapjacks will always be soft to touch when they are taken out of the oven, but will get crispy while they cool!!! Take them out of the oven when they have a nice golden colour on top!

​To give your Rustic Bread the 'The Boutique Bakeover', before you place your bread in the oven, use a sharp knife and cut halfway through the bread mixture lengthways across the centre of the bread. Pour seeds provided either side of the line and press down lightly with fingertips.
